Home Design: Different Types of Home Bar

Are you a self-confessed social drinker or someone who needs to drink at least one glass of alcohol before heading to bed? If yes, it's very important for you to have a home bar at home.

Did you know that home bars also need to be designed and painted according to your liking? So starting today, forget about the most boring ones you can find in stores.

House Beautiful came up with a list of at least 30 of the most stylish home bars to have ever been built. However, we are narrowing the list to only the top five.

For instance, designer Christopher Maya created a home bar that only made use of the colors red, blue and white. At first glance, the home bar looks just like a simple table. However, if you look closely you will realize that it's actually an Italian neoclassical table.

If you want your home bar to be placed inside your room, then this second option is the one that's right for you. The mid-century mod home bar was designed to occupy very little space in your room. It can also only hold one to two bottles and glasses so you wouldn't be tempted to drink too much.

Designer Richard Keith Langham built an Art Deco-style mini bar in a Miami Beach high-rise apartment. The bar also comes complete with a table, alcohol cases and chairs.

If you have more space for your home bar, then a wine cellar type one is best for you. This option makes it look like you have an entire small room for drinking and enjoying your family and friend's company.

Now that you have some ideas as to the different kinds and styles of home bars you can have at home, what are you waiting for? Have the one that you love best be built now.
