Jon Bon Jovi Delists Manhattan Residence; Checks out Luxe Condos at Puck Building

The "It's My Life" hitmaker Jon Bon Jovi has reportedly de-listed his duplex apartment in Manhattan, New York City.

Bon Jovi's residence at 158 Mercer Street was first listed sometime in March 2013 with a lofty $42 million price tag. However, failing to sell over the months, the home took a pricechopper and was listed at $39 million in Sep, 2013. Having found no buyer even with a discounted asking price, Jovi took the home off the market six weeks ago, reports New York Post.

The residence was listed with Corcoran.

However, all that trouble selling off the home hasn't deterred the rocker to go check out some other plush places. According to the Real Deal, Bon Jovi took a tour of the penthouses atop the Puck Building in Nolita, which have yet to be listed officially. He apparently checked out most of the units, prices of which supposedly range from $21 million to $60 million.

There are six penthouses at the Puck Building. Renderings of the residences were revealed sometime in September. Curbed then revealed that five of the apartments had replaced office space in the building, while the sixth one occupied a 'rooftop addition'. Each penthouse will be named in Roman numerals. Of the six, two are duplex apartments, three overlook a garden and three have outdoor space as well.

While not checking out residences in his spare time, Bon Jovi does what he does best, performs. The singer will reportedly be performing at radio legend Howard Stern's much-talked-about birthday bash Jan.31, at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Though Stern's birthday was on Jan 12, the media-man will be celebrating turning 60 in style.

"I am very excited to see Jon and thank him for that. And also one of my heroes will perform that night -- one of the all-time greats. ... A guy whose every record I bought when he was in Creedence Clearwater Revival, and later his solo stuff. John Fogerty will come by to perform two great songs. I won't say what the songs are, [but] we're really excited about that," Stern said about the bash, reports Billboard.com.
