Judge Judy’s New York Pied-à-Terre for Sale

Pioneers from the league of justice have joined the celebrity housing market. Judith Sheindlin, popularly known as Judge Judy for her famous courtroom-arbitration reality show, has ordered a sale of her very own New York Pied-à-Terre with an asking price of $9 million.

The family court judge is said to be the highest paid TV personality making around $123,000 per day! In 2012, Judge Judy also made her way into the highest-paid-women list of Forbes joining the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Lady Gaga and Ellen DeGeneres.

She grabbed headlines with her super splurge on the plush 2 bedroom- 2.5 bathrooms Sherry Netherlands apartment that cost the Judge Judy around 6.7 million back in 2009. However, the place has been put up for sale and the judge definitely wants to make some profit out of it!

The apartment sits on the eleventh floor of the Sherry Netherlands complex, which is an expensive high-rise located at the Fifth Avenue Street in New York. Spread over a 3000 square foot area, the place has a large foyer and a spacious bright living room. The flooring is completely done in hardwood sporting subtle stripes. A deeply paneled TV room sits adjacent to a modern small kitchen. There is a laundry room too. Large walk-in closets line the bedrooms along with attached baths, reports Real Estalker.

Apart from her Sherry apartment, Judge Judy also has a penthouse in Naples, Florida, which is said to be her primary residence where she loves to spend quality time with her folks. She also owns a massive nine bedroom manse in Greenwich, reports The Sun.

Judge Judy married thrice, twice to current husband - Jerry Sheindlin, who was also a former judge. The couple have five children and 12 grandchildren with whom Judge Judy likes to go snorkeling, shopping and antiquing.

Judge Judy was called "The queen of Syndicated Shows" by Forbes. The closest rival of the show is the American hit Sitcom series "The Big Bang Theory.".

Will old Sheldon blow away Judge Judy's court with his geeky comic sense next year? That we've got to see!
