‘Southern Charm’ Series Cancelled, Confirms Thomas Ravenel; Shep Rose Disagrees

Is "Southern Charm" Season 3 cancelled? Thomas Ravenel likes to think so. The 52-year-old politician seemingly confirmed rumors that the Bravo reality series has been cancelled in a deleted Facebook post. His co-star Shep Rose, however, disagrees with his statements and said that Ravenel does not have any idea about the show's future.

"Southern Charm" Season 3 is still up in the air, as the Bravo TV series has neither confirmed nor denied issues about the show's cancellation. The show has received its lowest ratings in its second season, which immediately sparked rumors that the latest season will be its last.

"Southern Charm" has also seemingly lost interest from a number of fans after Ravenel seemingly hinted that he will no longer be back for Season 3. Now, the 52-year-old politician confirmed via a deleted Facebook post that the show has been cancelled.

Ravenel posted a link of an article from Chinese-based media company, Yibada, which cites the possibility that "Southern Charm" Season 3 will be cancelled due to poor ratings and his exit from the series, The State reported.

"It's over," Ravenel wrote.

While Ravenel has already deleted the post (the same way he did with his other posts), many fans were able to get a shot of the politician's cryptic message. This has alerted many fans of the series that the show will no longer be back for another season.

His "Southern Charm" co-star, Shep Rose, however, refused to acknowledge Ravenel's post and wrote: "Thomas doesn't know what he's talking about. He's not a bad guy, but he has a few drinks and makes declarative statements."

Bustle seemingly agrees with Rose's insights, as the outlet cited that Ravenel has previously announced his departure from the show in Seasons 1 and 2 in a series of Facebook posts. The politician, however, deletes such posts and eats his words afterwards.
