Disney fan gamers are all anticipating the arrival of "Kingdom Hearts 3" video game. Rumors are out that new features and characters have been included in the third installment of the popular video game.

While not much has been revealed about the new game in recent months, an interview with game developer director Tai Yasue of Square Enix in Nexxt Up revealed a lot of things the fans could expect from the game, noted Latin Times.

The third edition in the "Kingdom Hearts" series is said to have new stages and bosses for the gamers' increased enjoyment.

Gameranx reported that once gamers finish the "Birth by Sleep," level, they would be directed to a new and "dark" level to finish. The player would have the chance to play as Aqua and kill a "predatorial" enemy at the end of the bonus level.

Meanwhile, in "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix," players would have a new boss to answer to.

"Kingdom Hearts" first came to PlayStation 2 gamers in 2002. After which, many other "Kingdom Hearts" spin-off games were released, noted PC World. But these titles are not a direct continuation of the story of Sora, but instead focused on other characters.

In 2014, rumors have circulated that "Kingdom Hearts 3" was set to come out this year. However, Yasue announced that the rumors are not true but the 3rd installment and "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix" is developed simultaneously.

"We were actually developing Kingdom Hearts 3 and 2.5 at the same time, and it's very difficult. There was a point where we wanted to switch our resources to Kingdom Hearts 3 and get that moving faster," the director revealed.

Yasue added, "We've been working full throttle on Kingdom Hearts 3. It's moving along. We structured our team in a way that development of 2.5 does not impede Kingdom Hearts 3. I'm actually very excited about Kingdom Hearts 3."

As it seems that the developers are not yet close to being done with the game, as fans could expect "Kingdom Hearts 3" to come out in 2016. On the other hand, Christian Today reported that "Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix" would be out on Dec. 2.

As fans anticipate the launch of the third "Kingdom Hearts" game, reports have gone around that the "Frozen" world would be included in the highly-anticipated game.

However, Yasue clarified that "Frozen" would not be included in the third game, as others have assumed. He simply shared how he liked the Disney movie and said that plans to include it in the upcoming game are not on the drawing board yet.
