Singer and songwriter Vanessa Carlton's Soho apartment is available for rent for $17,500 per month. According to New York Curbed, Carlton purchased the apartment in 2004 for $1.83 million before she got married to fellow singer John McCauley in a simple wedding that was officiated by  Steve Nicks. It was also said that the apartment is fully furnished with her eclectic mix of styles along with her two pianos in the living room.

The Observer reports that the place was listed by Core broker Lisa R. Garey, and the current asking price is significantly higher than the previous one which was only $15,500 per month. The full floor loft features hardwood floors and high ceilings. It also has an open chef's kitchen and a windowed dining area.

There is also an office alcove and three exposures. The master bathroom is en-suite and is designed with a steam shower and a deep spa tub. It is also designed with blood red wallpaper with a detailed diagram of a heart hung just above the tub.

It was reported that the simple apartment doesn't seem to have gone through major changes since it was first listed, and the lucky renter can have the place fully furnished between four to 12 months. For those who are not really into playing pianos, they can always sit on the piano bench and just appreciate the view from the window walls located in the great room. For renters, they also do not have to worry about walking up the stairs as the property has an elevator that opens right into the foyer of the apartment.

Overall, the interiors of the 2,500-square-foot loft reflect the singer's free-spirited style along with the vintage furniture and exposed red bricks. The walls are also decorated with Cameroon headdresses and deer antlers.
