This week, presidential candidate Donald Trump announced that his new luxury hotel in Washington DC will be ready this September which is two years ahead of schedule. According to Washingtonian, the Republican candidate visited the hotel's property at the Old Post Office on Pennsylvania Avenue to talk about the progress of the project and explain the different luxury accommodations. However, when it was time to talk to the press, he only received questions concerning politics.

As of writing, the Romanesque Revival landmark building is still an active site with its exposed beams and steel girders. There are also unopened boxes of building materials, but the conference took place on the unfinished atrium.

owever, instead of talking about the luxury hotel, Trump talked about political machinery like his conclave with the Republican Party and even his plans in building a society with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Aside from revealing that the hotel would be luxurious, Trump did not talk about the progress of the development on the project.

According to DC Curbed, Trump said that once the project is complete, it will be the largest luxury ballroom in the entire Washington area. When asked if the hotel would prioritize veterans, Trump responded by offering the journalist an interview instead.

Meanwhile, it was reported that the hotel will feature 228 guest rooms and three suites. One of the suites is called the Trump Townhouse and will have a total area of 6,300 square feet. Once it is complete, it will be the largest suite in the district.

When it comes to the cost of the stay, it was reported that the price will start at $795 a night for the most basic rooms. As of writing, there are still no new details on the hotel itself, and people will have to wait for Trump's campaign to end before he can elaborate more on the project.
