While former "One Direction" singer Zayn Malik is on a break after he left his famous band, there are many rumors that surround the star including stories about getting a cold shoulder from other One Direction members and his hunting for a new real estate property, Inquisitr reported.

Since Malik is no longer part of the band, it is rumored that he is going solo and will even release his first solo music video. Meanwhile, other members did not renew their contract yet and rumors say that Malik's former band mates might also follow his footsteps, Capital Film reported.

Real estate rumors are also taking the internet by storm saying that Malik and Gigi Hadid were looking for a place to stay together in New York City. The couple is checking a condo which is the only unsold unit in the organic addition to Bond Street.

Reports reveal that Malik will buy an apartment in NYC while Hadid has been trying to sell her own real estate in the same area which leave fans confused of the couple's plans.

But it is never confirmed that Malik will be going to buy an apartment in NYC or if he was indeed looking for a new real estate or not. Although many reports have revealed that the two scoped out a $6.495 million condo op at Annabelle Selldorf’s terracotta stunner, Curbed New York stated. The condo may be a good fit for the celebrities but none of the parties confirmed the news.

If the two indeed decided to get their own place in NYC, Gigi Hadid will surely be running into her ex boyfriend, Joe Jonas who is also looking for a real estate in New York which may open the possibility that the two will be nearby each other since Jonas was looking in a Noho property while Malik is probably getting a unit near Chelsea. Both areas are part of the Manhattan neighborhood.

As for Malik's career, fans are looking forward for the release of his first solo album while other fans speculate that Malik will jump into an acting career, suggesting that he will be a good addition to NBC's live musical "Hairspray for the character of Link Larkin, Queerty reported.
