A San Pablo Bay Area home that offers a magnificent waterfront view in Vallejo is being sold at only $575,000.

According to Trulia, homes in the Vallejo County have an average listing price of only $364,891, making the Bay Area home look pricier than the usual properties for sale on the market. However, this plush home has a waterfront view of the San Pablo Bay, which is a plus when it comes to buying real estate. With such a backdrop, $575,000 is considerably affordable bearing in mind that San Francisco homes with the same view would cost much more.

The Bay Area property was built in 2014 with a total of three bedrooms and two bathrooms, SF Gate reported. Originally, the owner had the home constructed as his retirement home. Since it is facing the San Pablo Bay, the owner intended to give the house a seaside touch.

The kitchen has a shell-themed chandelier and the kitchen island is sporting a mosaic of starfish. The color palettes all throughout the house remind anyone of the sand and sea.

This home on Seawind Drive maximizes on the magnificent SF Bay view by having big glass windows and a sliding door that opens up to the deck, bay and the Mare Island. Because the houses in the area do not have fences, the neighborhood creates a more expansive view.

Marco Rodriguez, the listing agent of the property, said, "You can't get these types of views for this price as you move closer to San Francisco."

Although Vallejo has suffered a bad reputation in the past, the city has just recently improved its rate of livability and with home buyers "being pushed out of places like El Cerrito," they are starting to look at the possibility of living in Vallejo. "This town is being revitalized," Rodriguez confirmed.

This home with a million-dollar view is located at the quiet, secure neighborhood of Carquinez Heights.
