As China's Shanghai Tower sees its completion, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat has announced the recent adjustments made on its Top 20 Tallest Buildings Worldwide. Unfortunately, Chicago's Willis Tower has found itself falling from the top 10.

China has made yet another addition to the list, with the Shanghai Tower breaking records: It's the tallest building in China, now the second tallest building in the world, and it's also got the world's fastest elevator.

But since a new addition has been made, the Willis Tower, which used to take the tenth spot on the list, has now been bunked one spot lower. It's definitely not a bad thing, since the beloved Chicago building still remains in the top 20.

However, the former Sears Tower might continue to experience repositioning in the list in the next few years. According to Yahoo, "Willis is projected to be knocked out of the top 20 by new skyscrapers in Asia and the Middle East within the next five years.

The CTBUH adds, via Archinect, "Given the rapid development of urban centers in these regions and the new heights that are being realized by contemporary tall buildings, CTBUH data projects that it will be less than five years before Willis Tower also falls out of the Top 20 Tallest Buildings."
