Travelling is such a delightful experience. Staying in hotels makes the adventure even more relaxing and rejuvenating. Underwater hotels are just one of the most ambitious innovations in the hotel industry that will make travelling even more spectacular and grand for travelers.

Telegraph UK lists down five of the top underwater hotels in the world. These include the Planet Ocean Underwater Hotel, PER AQUUm Niyama in Maldives, Manta Resort in Pemba Island, Atlantis at the Palm Dubai and Conrad Maldives in Rangali Maldives.

The website describes Planet Ocean Underwater Hotel as the most ambitious underwater hotel project at present. The hotel will have 12 aqua pods, some of which will be located 28 feet below sea level. The aqua pods are also capable of navigating underwater, with acrylic walls making the experience even more captivating. PER AQUUM on the other hand happens to be the world's first underwater nightclub where DJ's spin with a backdrop of the depths of the Indian Ocean and is about to undergo a shell-inspired make-over. The Atlantis located at The Palm Dubai offers Poseidon and Neptune suites with floor to ceiling windows featuring captivating views of the 65,000 marine life residing at the Dubai's Ambassador Lagoon.

Mirror UK on the other hand reveals further details about the creation of the majestic Planet Ocean Underwater Hotel. The said hotel is speculated to be built in the Florida Keys and will run as high as $6,000 a night. The profits for the said underwater hotel will be used to help marine biology, mainly for "coral reef restoration and aquaculture solutions/technologies." Tony Webb, managing director of the project revealed that the Planet Ocean Underwater Hotel has already over 200 enquiries about future reservations.

The hotel industry is definitely converging into greater heights to be able to offer not only comfort and luxury but as well as unforgettable experience for travelers around the world.
