Derrick Rose, the point guard of Chicago Bulls, says he should be blamed for the 118-111 loss to the Dallas Mavericks after he has done several mistakes during the later part of the game on Saturday night.

What bothered the player the most was the fact that the game was just less than a minute to play in regulation with their team's trailing 110-108,  ESPN reported.

Rose was working really hard and trying his best to run a high pick-and-roll with the seasoned Pau Gasol. However, he jumped in the air to pass and unfortunately turned the ball over. The players of the Dallas Mavericks then raced down to the ground to score an easy peasy basket, which in turn added to a lead they have not relinquished, Chicago Tribune reported.

In the same report, Rose said,  "I think I lost this game with that turnover. We were down two. Such a critical part in the game and I feel bad. I feel bad. I feel like I lost this game for the team."

The point guard also added that he will surely learn from his mistakes. Rose had his best game of the season with total score of 25 points while going 12-for-20 from the field.

Rose also made a statement that the defender of the Dallas Mavericks jumped at the perfect time. He pointed out that it is indeed a learning experience.

Meanwhile, Fred Hoiberg the Chicago Bulls head coach said that Rose made the right read on the game. However, he just did not execute it the right way. He also pointed out that Rose really tried to make the right play.

In contrary to Hoiberg, Jimmy Butler, the Chicago Bulls' swingman said that Rose should take responsibility for the game. Taj Gibson, the team's power forward, on the other hand, agreed with Butler that Derrick should not take the blame.

In spite of what had happened, the Bulls are still hopeful that Rose can continue stringing good games after the not so good first two months of the season.
