Chris Brown, the "Don't Wake Me Up" hitmaker, has reportedly moved into the posh Agoura Hills area in California where he is renting a luxury pad for $15,500 a month.

After selling two properties in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles for a total of $3.29 million, the "Loyal" singer has decamped to a plush 8,000-square-foot mansion in the Mulholland Highway area of the Malibu Hills, according to the Trulia Blog.

Brown sold his properties in the Hollywood area to get rid of all the bad influence in his life. The 25-year-old musician has been involved in a lot of controversy ranging from temper issues, alcoholism and neighborhood trouble. He received flak from neighbors of his Los Angeles home for spray painting weird monster-like graffiti on his outer wall.

A short stint in jail and a rehabilitation program now has Brown on the right path and he has sworn to never return to his bad ways again.

Although the Virginia-based rapper is trying to stay out of trouble and has moved to a new location, his bad-boy reputation hasn't left him yet. According to TMZ, his neighbors in Agoura Hills don't like him much. A neighborhood resident told the website:

"It can be the devil.  I can care less.  I don't care if they're having orgies.  It can even be Saddam Hussein for all I care, as long as he doesn't trespass onto my property.  If he does, I shoot him."

Brown is already making the most of his palatial pad. He hosted a big party at the house over the past weekend.

The home has pretty much anything one could ask for. There is a commercial ice cream bar, a dance studio, a billiards room, a sauna and a complete wing dedicated to the master suite.

There is a clubhouse, a tennis court, a motor court that leads to a 75-car garage and pool amenities as well. The house is just 10 minutes from the beach.

Meanwhile, Brown broke up with his on and off girlfriend Karrueche Tran and according to tabloids, the heartbreak was over Rihanna.

"Chris reached out to Riri a few times after leaving jail and he has been reaching out on Twitter and via text messages even more often now, I mean the dude is basically stalking her online," an insider source told Urbanislandz.com.

"Word got back to Karrueche and she went ballistic on him calling him disloyal... She felt betrayed after standing by him all this time through his many problems," the source added.
