Jeremy Carver, creator of the hit horror-drama series "Supernatural" just purchased the Los Angeles home of producer Richard Gladstein for $3.40 million.

The Real Estalker notes that the home was listed for $2.89 million in January this year. Just within a span of months, the home has found a buyer and sold for a good $506,000 more than the asking price.

Listing records show that the residence is a 3,258-square-foot, two-story, single-family home with three bedrooms, three full and one half bathroom. The interiors feature hardwood flooring, large French windows and exposed-beam and drywall ceilings.

Living spaces of the residence include a dining area, a formal living room with a fireplace, a kitchen with a breakfast bar and a man-cave as well. The property also offers ample recreation area and landscaped greens.

In more "Supernatural" real estate news, Jared Padalecki (Sam) recently sold his Studio City home for $2.4 million. Jared's Studio City home is a 3,818-square-foot residence comprised of four bedrooms and five bathrooms. He purchased the place in June 2009 for $1.7 million and sold it for the exact same price he had listed it for.

On the other hand, Jensen Ackles (Dean) also purchased a home in Malibu last year. The home is a 4,698-square-foot place with five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Sitting on a 1.3- acre lot, it is a Mediterranean style single family residence.

Carver struck gold with the series. "Supernatural" ended after season nine but a spin-off got picked up. "Supernatural: Bloodlines", which premiered April 29, has new additions and more adventures and added monsters.

A review of the pilot episode on IGN.com reads:

"Setting up a Godfather-esque background for monster families in a big city is a fascinating concept, but it needs good stories and characters to make it work. This backdoor pilot doesn't have the latter part down, but it could get there with time."
