Lady Gaga is featured in a children's book and audiobook companion "The Portal in the Park" by M. Cricket Casey.

The said children's book was originally published in November 2006 using Lady Gaga's birth name Stefani Germanotta, according to Popcrush. The mega pop star then asked Casey to change the credited name to her stage name 'Lady Gaga.'

The change was followed with an artistic revelation with an amazing narration features from the hip-hop artist Grandmaster Melle Mel - author of two original tracks at the author's request, "Fountain of Truth" and "World Family Tree."

According to the same source, Lady Gaga's voice -- the Mother Monster -- was featured to both of these books as well.

Lady Gaga's little monsters [young readers] can now access "The Portal in the Park" online through Populove, which is now partnered with Audible.com with the '30-day free trial to the audiobook service.

Populove also mentioned that "The Portal in the Park" children's book and audiobook was then re-released in digital forms last year. This is also made available in Amazon as well.

Based from the Amazon buyers, they seemed to like how the story goes. The plot was said to have similarities with the classic Alice in the Wonderland wherein Alice gets into another world through a portal.

"When the boy falls into the portal in Central Park and arrives in another dimension it reminds me of the classic Alice in the Wonderland," Weiching Yu commented.

Yu added, "In this unique dimension the characters sing conversations and have a fantastic school called the Biorhythm Academy with laptop desks and floating seats ...I think anyone who gets this book will want to go through the portal and take a class in that school."
