The latest Galaxy A series flagship phone was recently discovered by a lot of aficionados on the popular benchmark testing website, GeekBench. Based on some speculations, this flagship phone is the rumored Samsung Galaxy A9. Apart from that, the listing also highlighted that this device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor.

The Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 are just some of the latest additions to the Samsung Galaxy A family. These handsets are now present in the company's official website. However, in the near future, another Galaxy A handset might also be made available in the market. According to GSM Arena, there is a big chance that this rumored Galaxy A smartphone is the rumored and upcoming Samsung Galaxy A9.

Based on the GeekBench listing, viewers can see that the handset with the SM-A9000 model number is powered by a Qualcomm octa-core chipset, has a 1.4GHz processing speed, and an MSM8976 motherboard, which is without a doubt a Snapdragon 620 model. The rumored handset may also offer a total of 3GB of RAM.

The sighting of this most-awaited, flagship Galaxy A9 from Samsung is not the first. Based on GSM Arena reports, this smartphone was first discovered on a trademark filing developed by Samsung after the Mobile World Congress 2015 event.

Also, earlier in October, another benchmark result from Antutu was also discovered. The results also showed exactly the same chipset model used on the handset, which coincides with the handset on the recent GeekBench listing, based on the statement given by GSM Arena.

With that said, smartphone enthusiasts or Samsung fans can now safely presume that the new flagship phone of the Galaxy A series, the Samsung Galaxy A9, might be made available in the market in the near future. So if you are one of them, the only thing that you can do as of the moment is to wait for new updates and confirmation from Samsung, with regard to the release date of the said handset, its official specs, as well as its availability.
