Mono Marine Edition is one of the toys that extreme sports lovers would love to have in addition to a superyacht.

Although one can basically get a lot of fun owning a superyacht with toys like water trampolines, slides, sleds, skis and so on, they would not be always in the spending a lot of time on the port area.

The fun does not stop even on land. This is the reason why Ian Briggs, one of the siblings who masterminds the Briggs Automotive Company and Mono, designed a car that is intended purely for fun.

“It has no transport function at all. We set out to design a piece of sport equipment for an extreme sport,” Briggs said to Wired.

“I started my career designing luxury yachts and I have wanted to combine my love of marine and automotive design ever since. The Marine Edition Mono represents purpose and style for a clientele that knows no compromise,” he said to Echo, Liverpool.

The Marine Mono has a single-seat design, has a weight of 580 kilograms; and, it is currently being made for specific customers - yacht owners.

According to Wired, the Marine Mono is a concept that is taken from the Mono with few tweaks added for an optimization to sea life. The materials used for the said car are rust-resistant, and the electronics are corrosion-protected from moisture and salty air.

How much will it cost to own a Mono Marine Edition? A good £500,000 will give you a completely customized supercar. However, the buyer will have to wait as only four cars are being produced monthly in its Liverpool factory.

Apparently, the idea of coming up with a marine edition came from the super rich customers in the US, Europe, South America and Asia.
