As previously reported, "Doctor Strange" has added Scott Adkins to its cast and crew.

The 39-year-old English actor and Martial artist will be joining the ranks of confirmed actors Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Michael Stuhlbarg and Amy Landecker whose roles have yet to be revealed in Marvel's upcoming "Doctor Strange" film. While Benedict Cumberbatch has already been confirmed to play the role of the Titular Sorcerer in the Scott Derrickson-directed film. Moreover Tilda Swinton has been cast as the Ancient One Strange's mentor and Chiwetel Ejiofor plays Strange's enemy Baron Mordo.

Up to now, his role in the upcoming "Doctor Strange" is still a big mystery. According to Coming Soon, he is the popular choice to play Danny Rand otherwise known as Iron Fist on the upcoming Netflix series. Iron Fist has appeared in the lore of the Avengers and Daredevil and it is possible that he could make appearance in "Doctor Strange." Danny is the son of businessman Wendell Rand, who once lived in the fictional city of K'un-Lun. If Rand is introduced in the Marvel film, Scott Adkins is the most suitable actor to play the part. Iron Fist is a master of K'un Lun's martial arts. Iron Fist is a 17-year old blond kid who looks too muscular for his age.

According to Cinema Blend, Adkins has been known to "add physical flair" to fight scenes in movies like "Bourne Ultimatum" and "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." Whether Adkins ends up playing Rand or not, one can easily imagine how he might look like in the Marvel film. And itlooks like it is going to be an action packed film as there have been reports that Benedict Cumberbatch has also undergone some intense martial arts training in preparation for "Doctor Strange."

"Doctor Strange" is said to be currently filming in Nepal and expected to hit theaters in Nov. 4, 2016.
