Oprah's favorite designer Nate Berkus and partner Jeremiah Brent made their duplex home in New York available for $10.5 million.

Famed interior designer Berkus and his partner Brent have decided to sell their home in Manhattan for $10.5 million after receiving a big number of inquiries from people willing to pay top dollar for the couple's crib.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the stylish home of the designer couple occupies the 14th and 15th floors of an old building erected in the prewar era called the Greenwich Village. Listing agent Emily Beare from Core said the co-op is sized at 2,800 square feet and has three bedrooms.

Beare also described in detail what the apartment looks like starting off with the walk-in closet that is windowed. It is divided into two equal sections for the couple; one for Berkus and the other for Brent. The agent said the size of the closet is huge and is as big as apartments of people in the area. The kitchen is elegantly designed with white tiles and accentuated by black cabinetry. It also leads to a terrace that has rounded glass casement windows which the agent Beare said add  more light to the place.

Beare also shared how the couple converted an office space into a nursery for their child Poppy. They added a playroom that has a secret door that leads to the hallway. It is concealed by built-in shelves and the agent also mentioned the presence of a wraparound terrace. The home is also made cozy in the winter by three fireplaces.

Meanwhile, in a post by Daily Mail, it is mentioned that the host of "American Dream Builders" Berkus started out his design career in New York while his partner practiced in Los Angeles. The two got engaged after nine months of dating and the proposal was made on top of a Peruvian mountain.
