"Wonder Woman" is currently in production for its release in 2017, and rumor has it that another superhero will be joining the iconic female lead.

According to Vine Report, Saïd Taghmaoui from the movie "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" and the television show "Lost" has posted on his Instagram account photos from the set of the movie. In the said picture (which was later reportedly deleted) Taghmaoui poses with Chris Pine, who will reportedly play Wonder Woman's (Gal Gadot) love interest. Another photo was posted showing the actor's chairs with their names on it. All of his posts were taken down shortly after they were published.

Taghmaoui said that he has officially joined the film as one of its official cast members and that he will be playing the role of a superhero. However, Taghmaoui did not reveal more details about his role, though he said that it has always been his dream to play a superhero and that the movie is a dream come true for him.

He added that the casting process wasn't easy and he was chosen out of a hundred potential candidates. He revealed that it took the production three months before it was confirmed that he will be playing the role. Taghmaoui said that the production will begin this month and it will take about six months. The movie will be filmed in four different countries.

Meanwhile, Cinema Blend reports that Pine might play two roles in the upcoming movie. Pine will reportedly play the role of Steve Trevor, and his character was first seen in the picture that was previously posted by Taghmaoui.

According to sources, Pine will not just play Steve Trevor. Because some parts of the movie will be set in the past, he will also play the part of his ancestor. Rumors are circulating that Pine will also play the role of Trevor's grandfather in the flashback scenes of the movie.

"Wonder Woman" is scheduled to be released on June 26, 2017.
