When Anthony Kiedis, the lead singer of the rock band 'Red Hot Chili Peppers', is not picking up a brawl with hotel guards or PDA-ing with his much-young girlfriend, he is picking up some prime real estate.

According to several news reports, Kiedis has purchased a plush villa in the Sunset strip neighborhood of Los Angeles for $3.65 million. Looks like, the 'Californication' singer is enjoying his time in California so much that he has decided to get a house there.

The Real Estalker reports that the seller is Waldo Fernandez, the famous celeb home decorator, who purchased the place in June 2012, for about $2.4 million. Fernandez has definitely made a neat profit off the sale.

This particular residence was featured in the Architectural Digest at least three times and is a masterpiece in itself. The home is a 2769 square feet single family residence comprising of three bedrooms and four bathrooms. Interiors of the home feature hand carved European ceilings, numerous limestone fireplaces, iron-railed balconies, hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling glass windows and slider doors.

The listing describes the home as:

Completely redone by Waldo Fernandez, this incredibly secluded and private Villa is located in the center of one of the most sought after areas in the city. Sophisticated, stylish and chic, this European Villa features a very dramatic living room with 14 ft ceilings with French doors, all overlooking beautiful city views. The formal dining room has high arched, towering, coffered ceilings and French doors lead to the spectacular dining terrace overlooking the pool, garden and city. Fully updated kitchen, incredible library with high ceilings, and beautiful master looks out to spectacular romantic pool, gardens and meandering paths. Walled, gated and timeless with great scale throughout makes this the ultimate pied-~~-terre.

Maybe Kiedis and his girlfriend will move in together in their new home. More recently, the couple was spotted cozying up on the streets before speeding away on a fancy bike. The 50's something rocker looked absolutely fit in a pink baggy t-shirt and black jeans and jacket, reports the Daily Mail.
