Just two months after listing a plush penthouse in Beverly Hills, famous talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and wife, Portia de Rossi, have managed to sell the place off, albeit for a little lower than what they asked for. The home hit the listing market in June with an $899,000 price tag. The home has now sold for $843,900, according to several media reports.

The couple still managed to make a profit off the sale. DeGeneres purchased the place for $835,000, three years ago.

According to the listing records, the top floor condo is a 1683 square feet residence comprising of two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Sitting on the top floor of the Somerset Condos, a luxury apartment building on Swall Drive, the residence provides beautiful mountain views. The Somerset Apartment Building is one of the most sought after multi-family residences in Beverly Hills.

Zillow describes the home as:

It has been a busy time on the real estate front for DeGeneres and Rossi. They recently purchased a home in Santa Barbara for $26.5 million. They also have multiple residences in Los Angeles and a nice ranch in Santa Monica that was featured in Elle Décor. Meanwhile, their 26 acre horse ranch in Thousand Oaks, California,is on the market with a $13 million price tag. They just upped the asking price two weeks after listing the estate and according to Realtor.com, the home's status says "looking for backup", which means  "a bid has been accepted" but offers are still open.

DeGeneres and Rossi celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary, August 16. According to Female First, the two wed in 2008 at their Beverly Hills house. Was the wedding venue the one that Ryan Seacrest purchased in 2012 from DeGeneres?

Not sure which one, but we definitely wish the two a very happy anniversary!
