After Bones bid farewell to John Francis Daley's shrink dink, Fox is set to rattle Team Jeffersonian's fragile nerves anew in the Season 11 premiere with a storyline that strongly implies that Booth bid farewell too. But even with mounting evidence (including his purported remains), Brennan is not buying what the DNA presents.

"It can't be him,'' Brennan insists in the exclusive promo. So it would be interesting to watch Bones as it kicks off Oct. 1 and see how this little mystery plays out.

Buddy TV said Brennan takes the calm route before they have all the facts. While he may not be happy about being told she's going to take it easy, she can at least delight in being able to continue eating her peanut butter cookies.

Booth admits when Brennan asks about his gambling past. "Poker. Ponies. I even bet on the expiration date of a package of cheese." However, Booth insists that he can handle working this case, and that's because he has his family. "I gambled in the past because my life was a mess. It was a complete disaster," he explains. "Now I have you, I got Christie, I got Parker, and I got the little guy on the way."

The mystery that surrounded Booth's looming Bones disappearance has been solved. David Boreanaz reveals that he suffered a health scare earlier this summer that delayed his return to the Fox drama. Bones producers crafted a Season 11 storyline in which Booth goes missing to accommodate his late start.

"Nothing matters to me more than Bones, so I was thrilled when the producers came up with a way for me to take a few extra weeks to recover from a personal health issue without delaying production," Boreanaz said in a statement to TVLine. "I'm happy to say that I'm now feeling great and will be back to work tomorrow, and that our 11th season premiere will broadcast on schedule - with me in it."
