"Movie stars get all the glory, but those whose fame is largely off-camera command even bigger fortunes."

That was the introduction of Forbes as they reported this year's 5 Hollywood's Richest Power Brokers. For the first time of Forbes history, they outlined a list of wealthiest people whose 60 percent of net worth is tied to the entertainment business.

The first on their list is none other than Rupert Murdoch with a net worth of $12.5 billion. As seen on Forbes, the net worth is primarily attributed to his ownership of 21st Century Fox which is also connected to Fox TV network and cable businesses and Twentieth Century Fox. The latter on 2014 alone was reported to have hit an all-time industry record for global box office receipts amounting to $5.5 billion.

He was then followed by Sumner Redstone with an estimated net worth of $5.2 billion thanks Viacom which is the home of MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central.

On the third spot with a net value of $5.1 billion is George Lucas. Thanks to one of biggest franchises 'Star Wars,' and selling of LucasFilm to Disney in 2012 which earned him $4 billion, Lucas was able to be placed on the middle seat among the 5 titans.

The man on the fourth seat is Isaac Perlmutter with a net-worth of $4 billion. For the information of everyone he is just the man behind the hottest film in the past years, such as Guardians of the Galaxy franchise to Iron Man and Avengers 2. Though Antman revival was considered as worst opening weekends of any Marvel film, he still managed to be on the top 5.

Last but not the least on the Forbes list is the famous director Steven Spielberg with $3.6 billion net worth. According to Forbes, Spielberg's success this year is primarily attributed to his recently executive produced 'Jurassic World,' which grossed $1.5 billion globally and as well as his DreamWorks' The Dome' and 'Extant.'
