The listing for the Strongheart Manor of Richard Gere has been on and off again for the past couple of years. According to a report from Variety.com, the property is located in North Haven near Sag Harbor, the Hamptons, New York.

The actor and activist bought the property in three separate transactions between 2005 and 2008. The total cost of the property alone is $11.3 million. The first time the property was listed was back in 2013, right after the "Autumn in New York" actor had divorced Carey Lowell.

The property is located on a 6.3 acre land with direct bay frontage. The main residence was built back in the 1900s but has been renovated to a deluxe level with state of the art features for the resident's comfort.

Aside from the main home there are two guest houses with their own kitchen and baths. There is also a swimming pool on the grounds as well as a basketball court. The gardens and lawns are overlooked by patios and screened porches that overlook Peconic Bay. There is also a pond on the grounds with a small island and a tea house for afternoon delights.

All in all there are twelve bedrooms and twelve baths, according to a report from hookedonhouses.com.  In 2013, the original asking price was at $69.5 million but has been discounted now to just $56 million. It had been previously listed to as low as $47.5 million.

The property is listed with Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
