"Big Hero 6" creator Stan Lee recently confirmed that there will be "Big Hero 7"; however, "Ant-Man," "Doctor Strange" and "Black Panther" will be the first three priorities.
According to Crossmap, Lee said that he will revisit four other films that will get a sequel and at that time he mentioned "Big Hero 6." With this recent revelation, fans couldn't help but wonder what "Big Hero 7" will be about.
As of late, the official title for the sequel has not yet been confirmed but multiple publications are hinting that it would be called "Big Hero 7." Additionally, there are also speculations that Hiro's brother Tadashi will come back from the dead.
In a previous interview with Movie Pilot, Lee revealed that not because Tadashi was pronounced dead in "Big Hero 6" does it mean that he actually died. The creator even teased that as long as fans didn't see the body of the character that died, this means that they could still return to the sequel.
Some fans might find this explanation absurd because it was very clear in "Big Hero 6" that Tadashi died and Hiro even learned of his passing. However, the same publication noted that Lee could come up with a way out by simply saying that Tadashi was changed and not killed when the building he was in burst into flames. With this, there is a possibility that Tadashi could turn into Sunfire, a famous Marvel character that has the capability to absorb heat and change it into plasma.
"Big Hero 6" chronicled the life of a young boy named Hiro and his robot friend Baymax. After his older brother Tadashi "died" due to an explosion, Hiro and his friends teamed up to face the bad guys responsible for the alleged killing. If "Big Hero 7" were to push through, fans can expect its release no earlier than 2018.
