Fans of the popular video game, "Grand Theft Auto V," could now finally breath a sigh of relief as the company announced an actual release date for the highly-anticipated "Heists DLC" for gaming consoles.

In an article posted by Rockstar Games on its official blog, the developers announced that the Heists for GTA Online would be available on March 10.

It was initially noted by Rockstar Games that the "Heists DLC" would arrive before the game hits the PC. While the company was able to commit to that schedule, it seems that fans awaiting the game on their desktops would be disappointed to know that they would have to wait a bit longer than usual.

The same blog post revealed that the release date of "GTA V for PC," initially slated to reach PC gamers on March 24, was pushed back again. The delay would see the game available to players on April 14 instead.

Rockstar Games cited further polishing to the game as the reason for its delay.

The blog post described "GTA V for PC" as the company's "most graphically and technically advanced version yet, fully optimized to support a broad range of current hardware and features a host of PC-specific enhancements including greater levels of detail, deep configuration options and ultra high-definition support."

In an effort to tide the fans over the seemingly endless disappointment, the company offered bonus cash within the game for the players.

"As a gesture of thanks for your understanding, we will grant anyone who has pre-ordered the game an additional $200,000 in-game cash for use in GTA Online," added the blog.

Many fans were disappointed to learn that the "Heists" missions, promised to gamers even before "GTA V" was launched, would not be included in the game released in November 2013, said IB Times.

According to the developers' statement, "Heists will bring a brand new 4-player cooperative gameplay experience to GTA Online, giving players the chance to team up to pull off a string od intense, multi-part raids and robberies across Los Santos and Blaine County."

Since the announcement of this update, many have been eagerly awaiting for when they could get their hands on the updated game version. A lot of leaks and rumors have surfaced in the Internet as gamers prepare for its arrival.

Despite gamers' disappointment, Forbes was quick to point out that part of the delay with "Heists" might have contributed to the difficulty in designing of the game. It noted that coming up with multiple players coordinating in one mission is more difficult to do and requires additional time as opposed to a single-player campaign.
