"Fifty Shades of Grey" stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson revealed a number of movie insider information and personal details in a recent interview for Glamour Magazine
Johnson, 25, plays the lead female role of Anastasia Steele, admits she's for the movie because of the freedom it gives women with regards to their bodies.
"If I can be an advocate for women to do what they want with their bodies and not be ashamed of what they want, then I'm all for that," but she also confesses she doesn't want her family to see the film.
"...I don't want my family to see it, because it's inappropriate. Or my brother's friends that I grew up with. Also there's part of me that's like, I don't want anyone to see this movie. Just kidding," she remarked.
While she may feel this way, she did share during the interview that after reading the books she personally "was drawn to the character of Ana because she's private, loving, honest-and because she and Christian are both incredibly intelligent, confident, and can spar with each other on every level," reported MSN of the Glamour Interview.
Sex Scene Details
With all the intimate moments in E.L. James' "Fifty Shades of Grey" books, Johnson and Dornan had their fair share of sex scenes.
During the interview with Glamour, Jamie was quick to admit filming such scenes were very uncomfortable. "There were times when Dakota was not wearing much, and I had to do stuff to her that I'd never choose to do to a woman."
"It's stressful enough to be tied to a bed, naked, in a scene. But then they call 'Cut' and you're still tied to the bed, naked," chimed in Johnson describing what it was like for her. Dornan was, however, a true gentleman.
The Northern Irish actor recognized that if it wasn't easy for him, it must've been harder for Dakota. "Jamie would be the first one to throw a blanket over me. And he did a lot of studying, just to make sure that I was as safe as possible. But there were some painful moments," revealed Johnson of his co-star.
Biggest Turn-Ons
The stars of the film, believe it or not, have the exact same turn-on. Jamie says he's "got a thing for great hands. My wife [Amelia Warner] has my favorite hands in the world." He also adds he loves a woman who can tell funny stories, which his wife is so great at.
Dakota also likes a man with a pair of strong hands because "manliness is attractive to me."
"Fifty Shades of Grey" hits theaters on Feb. 13.
