Kendrick Lamar New Album 2015 Leaked? Release Date Not Jan 27 Says Label

Kendrick Lamar's fans and followers just cannot wait to get their hands on his next album. An image of a list of upcoming album releases, which first appeared on Section Eighty, went viral on the Internet, and Lamar's latest music work was among the albums listed.

Neither Lamar nor his record label, TDE, or Top Dawg Entertainment, has confirmed an official release date for the album yet, but, according to the list, Lamar's album will be out by Jan. 27.

As seen on Inquisitr, a Twitter user, named Besky, posted the picture on social media with an explanation that it was a Coming Soon List in Walmart. However, TDE took to its Twitter account to officially announce that Walmart must have been misinformed about the release date of Lamar's new album.

Lamar will be busy in the next few weeks as he will be appearing in various music festivals to promote his upcoming album, which happens to be one of the highly anticipated albums of 2015, acording to Huffington Post. His third studio album was preceded by the record's first single, entitled, "i," which was released on Sept. 23 of last year.

Having said this, it would seem that, to date, only very little is known about Kendrick Lamar's upcoming album. They have even kept mum about its official title and album cover. Although he performed an untitled son when he appeared on "The Colbert Report" last year, he told Billboard that it was not going to be part of his album.

The track was untitled, at the time, and it had a very interesting spoken-word opening, which talked about dealing with success and religion. It ended with "Tell 'em we don't die / Tell 'em we don't die / We multiply."

Lamar first became famous in the music industry when he signed up with TDE in 2004 and before he sealed a joint deal with Interscope Records and Aftermath in 2012. His first studio album, "good kid, m.A.A.d city," was released in Oct. 22 of that same year. Fortunately for Lamar, it was immediately met with widespread critical acclaim, especially as more than one of its songs were included in the Top 40.

He has managed to obtain a huge popularity over the World Wide Web, which eventually made him one of the biggest and most famous underground rappers in the United States.

Plus, as reported by Hip Hop DX, even Stevie Wonder, who had his own version of Lamar's "i," spoke highly of the young rapper to GQ. "Kendrick Lamar is extremely talented," said Wonder. "But, not only is he just talented. He has a real concern for the people."
