Samsung Galaxy A7 vs Apple iPhone 6 Plus: A7 Better than iPhone? Round Up Here

Samsung has launched its newest device, the Samsung Galaxy A7 -- a 5.5-inch smartphone set to go head to head with Apple's newest iPhone release.

The phablet, which many believe is a throwback to Apple's old, more rectangular design, carries a full-metal body -- a new design trend Samsung's been featuring on its new device, noted Mail Online.

The South Korea company boasts that the new A-series phone is the slimmest device available in the market. While it carries a similar aesthetic to the earlier launched A-series devices, the A7 is currently the biggest in the line with its older siblings, the A3 and A5 already covering the 4.5 and 5-inch sizes.

With the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus still being one of the hottest phones in the market, those looking to upgrade should consider the Galaxy A7 as a worth alternative.

Here is a quick comparison of the phones to help you make the decision:

Samsung Galaxy A7

The new Galaxy A7 introduced a new smartphone that rivals the iPhone 6 Plus directly. With a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, the A7 offers a 1.8GHz and 1.3GHz quad-core processors-or 1.5GHz and 1.0GHz for those who opt for the dual-SIM version, reports Gizmodo.

Aside from 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage (expandable as usual), the 5.5-inch AMOLED HD (1280 x 720) screen has a 13-MP rear camera and 5-MP front snapper all packed neatly within a 6.3mm frame.

The phone comes pre-programmed with the Android 4.4 and carries the same connectivity features that include WiFi, Bluetooth, NC and LTE.

Apple iPhone 6 Plus

The iPhone 6 Plus launched Sept. 2014 is Apple's most innovative phone yet. While its sibling, the iPhone 6 sports similar specs, physically, the iPhone 6 is the largest iPhone release of Apple.

Apple's first ever phablet has a 5.5-inch HD Retina (1080 x 1920) Display with 1 GB of RAM and an 8-MP iSight rear camera with OIS. The Plus also comes pre-programmed with the iOS 8, an A8 processor, dual-core 1.4 GH Cyclone CPU, Touch ID fingerprint identity sensor, Faster LTE and wifi capabilities.

Do everything you need and want longer as Apple has improved the smartphone's battery life while slimming down the metal design to a ultra-thin 7.1mm design.

"We strive to develop devices that appeal to a broad range of consumers and are ahead of the next big social trend," said Samsung CEO JK Shin, reports BGR. "Combining both a stunning metallic design and a powerful performance, the Galaxy A7 is stylish while delivering the superior user experience."

The iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy A7 offer different features that will appeal to different customers based on their individual smartphone requirements.

To date, Samsung hasn't announced the price or specific date the A7 will be released.
