Cristiano Ronaldo Transfer News & Rumors: Real Madrid Star to Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain?

Cristiano Ronaldo's contract will end anytime soon, and talks about where the football superstar heads off are on the rise.

Ronaldo has had a successful run with Real Madrid for the last five years, registering a staggering record of 203 goals and stockpiled La Liga titles among others. But now as he approaches the edge of his 20s, speculations have rallied around on where he should end his career.

Some say Ronaldo might be returning to Manchester United while others think he'd sign a contract with Paris Saint-Germain. But Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, tells a completely different story.

However, initial reports give hope to Manchester fans as Mike Phelan, former assistant coach to Alex Ferguson, spoke to International Business Times UK saying that CR7 may possibly return to Old Trafford. "Ronaldo loved his time at Manchester United and if Manchester United were interested in him again then he would listen to that because part of his career has come through Man United".

Nevertheless, Phelan, despite being positive about Ronaldo coming back to Man United, says he's taking things in a more realistic perspective, "He is where he is because of being Ronaldo, and at the moment they're successful, Madrid are successful. So I can't see why he would think about coming back to Manchester United now."

And even before, Mendes has already stated that a move to Madrid is not possible because Madrid is on top of the Spanish League right now and trading him is not just a sane option, Skysports reports.

Meanwhile, Jorge Mendes is pretty sure about where his biggest client would settle in the near future. He said that Ronaldo will retire with Real Madrid and might move to the United States after his contract with the club ends. That's pretty much a conclusion to all speculations.

Jorge Mendes told Telefoot via ESPNFC his comments on CR7's transfer rumors and his future: "He will finish his career at Real Madrid, and after that, perhaps he will go to the United States. Only God knows what will happen. There is no way he will sign for Paris Saint-Germain, that's impossible - including for Cristiano, someone for whom anything is possible."

In short term, it seems like there is little chance that Ronaldo is coming back to Manchester, as what Mendes has already said. And definitely there is no chance that he would be playing for the Paris Saint-Germain.

But only as he ends his stint with Madrid and with reference to Mendes's allegation of Ronaldo's journey to America, the Bleacher Report shares that David Beckham is planning to get CR7 for his Miami franchise in 2017, as already been reported in The Metro.

But for now, the superstar is more likely to stay with the Real Madrid for good.
