Kelly Clarkson New Album 2015: 'Proof of life & Dr. Dre' Clues Dropped

Kelly Clarkson is gearing up to release her seventh album and decides to drop a few hints in anticipation of its release sometime early this year, Hollywood Reporter claimed.

The "American Idol" champion is keeping silent about her upcoming album. However, she teased fans a little on what genre she's looking at, the possible title of her first single and the possible release date through a series of tweets on her official Twitter account on Saturday.

"People keep asking. My next album is pop. But I am always influenced by music I love, which is pop-rock/country/r&b/dance #whoknowswhatsnext," she first tweeted.

She followed that up with a tweet about the songs on the album, such as a duet. She tweeted, "Here's a hint ....this wasn't our first time to sing together :)"

She also mentioned the first single, saying, "2 clues for the first single ....Proof of life & Dr. Dre #TheNextEpisode"

Clarkson also replied to a fan with a definitive "Yes :)" when asked about whether or not the single will be released this month. She also replied to another fan that after the album, she'd most likely go on tour come summer 2015.

The upcoming album will be Clarkson's follow-up to 2013's "Wrapped in Red" and first full-length since 2011's "Stronger," according to Entertainment Tonight. She has been busy since the birth of her daughter River Rose on June 12.

Now, fans are curious to know the next phase in the singe's career, especially after her duet with Trisha Yearwood in September. The possible list of other singers she has collaborated and may team up with again are Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Jason Aldean and more, according to E! News.

As for the single, rumors have been circulating a few weeks back on what Clarkson's new song will be, and stories initially claimed that it will be called "Sensation," according to Bustle. While a song of the same name might still appear on the singer's album, it doesn't seem to have anything to do with her recent clues.

Reports, however, are pointing at a recent track that Clarkson's camp registered with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, which is titled "Heartbeat Song." It was co-written by Clarkson, Kara DioGuardi, Jason Evigan and Audra Mae.

"Heartbeat Song" seemed to fit the clues perfectly as a heartbeat is "proof of life" and Dr. Dre is known for the Beats by Dre headphones, according to Bustle.

For now though, fans will have to wait patiently for Clarkson and her new songs. As she reminded a fan on Twitter, "I had a baby ha! That takes time :)"
