The official trailer for the upcoming Zack Snyder-helmed "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" has allegedly leaked online earlier this week, revealing details of how the movie and the story might pan out, The Inquisitr reported.
The trailer reportedly hit the internet via 4chan on Reddit, which came with full-length descriptions on what is happening in every scene and dialogue in the trailer.
The bad news to all this is that the supposed leaked video cannot be found online, nor on any Google searches. It has even disappeared from the original Reddit thread, according to the Inquisitr. Reports claimed that "few people have actually seen it," which is sending up red flags on whether or not this supposed leak was real or just another rumor.
However, Movie Pilot was able to view the descriptions explaining what supposedly happened in the trailer, which looked to center mostly on Batman.
The trailer allegedly follows after the events of "Man of Steel," and opened up to Metropolis, which was said to look very chaotic.
Ben Affleck, playing Batman, was reportedly shown in his new Batsuit. He also provided the voiceover for the trailer, mentioning that Kryptonians have arrived on the planet before questioning Superman's motives. The caped crusader then wondered if Superman will save the world or destroy it, before declaring, "I'm going to find out."
The trailer then cut to the "Batman v Superman" logo for a cliffhanger ending.
Despite the supposed descriptions though, fans should still be wary of the news, especially in the absence of the said trailer.
However, if the trailer was posted ahead of time online, there is the possibility that Warner Bros was able to pull it off the web quickly, which they have done previously for the Comic Con trailer that leaked before, according to International Business Times.
For now though, the trailer and its story is being filed away as rumors, joining the myriad of unconfirmed news that have popped up about the film.
Based on the early draft of Chris Terrio's script that leaked online, "Dawn of Justice" will continue a couple of years after the events of "Man of Steel", according to Badass Digest.
The film is rumored to be opening up with Batman or rather Bruce Wayne's origin story before moving on to Bruce's arrival in Metropolis after the Superman-Zod battle in "Man of Steel."
Several years later, Superman a.k.a. Clark Kent is together with Lois Lane and working for the Daily Planet. Superman eventually ends up involved in an international incident and faces a few bad guys along the way. He will also reportedly go head-to-head with Lex Luthor and Batman with his anti-Superman weapons, Badass Digest explained.
However, as the draft was an early look leaked a month before filming began, it is unknown if the story will remain the same.
For now, fans and interested moviegoers will just have to wait for Warner Bros to release more news before the film's release come March 25, 2016.
