Here are top five fake drawers that you need in your home right now.

According to House Beautiful, fake drawers don't mean that they will just be painted on your wall as a means to add an oomph to certain parts of the house. Rather, fake drawers are basically those spaces in your home that you can add layers or compartments to.

For instance, the bottom part of the sink usually has an empty space. All you have to do is to add two or three layers of compartment there. This is where you can put your cleaning materials and other stuff in as an additional storage.

If your washing machine is placed under your table, for instance, all you have to do is paint the opening to make it look as though it's part of the other drawers beside it. You can also add a small compartment that you can use to cover the dial and switches found on your washing machine.

Meanwhile, if you are tired of fixing your iron board every time you need to use it, all you have to do is attach it to an extra compartment anywhere in your home. The next time you need to iron your clothes, all you have to do is pull out the board and get the job done as quickly as possible.

If you usually cook different types of cuisines at home and use all sorts of ingredients, drill a hole into one of your cabinet layers and make sure that it is directly placed above a trash can. The next time you slice ingredients, you don't need to walk to the trash can. Rather, all you have to do is push the peeling down into the garbage can below, according to the Farm Chicks.
