Jackie Gleason Net Worth: ‘The Honeymooners’ Actor’s Last Home Listed on the Market for Only $299K

The late actor Jackie Gleason's home in Florida is now for sale. The property measures 4,123 square feet and is dubbed the "final home" of "The Honeymooners" actor. The sale includes some of the veteran actor's belongings for just the price of $299,000.

According to Trib Live, the celebrity home has six bedrooms and three bathrooms. The National Post calls the deal "a steal" as the house is semi-furnished and sits on three lots.

It was said that the celebrity home features an entertainment room with sunken bar and chairs. There five bars in the property, a huge library, and a billiards room. Based on the pictures, the house looks spacious and features elaborate furniture pieces. However, some renovations are reportedly needed, especially in the kitchen.

According to the online publications, Gleason's wife lived in the house a few years after the actor's death, but the property was sold along with the furniture and mementoes. However, the buyer passed away, which resulted in the foreclosure of the property. An investment firm was able to buy Gleason's home in an auction, and now the Florida house is on sale again for a very affordable price.

Gleason's career dates back to 1949, when he landed a role in the television show "The Life of Riley." He was also part of the drama "The Hustler." From acting, he ventured into music and became known for best-selling "mood music"for Capitol Overtones. After his music career, Gleason went back to acting until 1986. He died of colon cancer on June 24, 1987.
