Luxury Hotels: Longcroft Opens Its 11th High-End Accommodation for Cats

Cat lovers and their pets have something new to rejoice about. Longcroft has opened its 11th luxury hotel for cats. The property is said to be the smallest in the UK with only four suites.

According to Herts & Essex Observer, the luxury hotel is called Longcroft Cole Green and is run by Ali McPhillips, who is a cat lover herself. The establishment is located in her garden in Welwyn Garden City.

Cats will surely have a grand time in the luxury hotel with its slew of lavish amenities. According to the hotel's website, the suites offer five-star facilities which include wrought iron beds with soft pillows, a themed garden or play area and a separate fully heated bathroom. There are eight different kinds of suites available, each with its own design. The list also includes the interconnecting suites if you wish for your cats to mingle with each other during their stay.

The cat luxury hotel's facilities also include grooming services, a cat entertainer, "A La Cat Menu," chauffer services and more. The owner Ali also provides regular updates to the cats' owners to keep their peace of mind while away from their pets.

According to the site, the luxury hotel is far from the original Longcroft cat hotel which opened five years ago. Ali got the idea of establishing her own cat hotel after she discovered one for her pet Rosie.

"After speaking to Abi and the team at Longcroft I quickly realised the huge benefits of joining such an established business," said Ali. "Being able to tap into their wealth of knowledge made sure my hotel received planning permission swiftly and was licensed first time around. This is something I could never have done on my own."

Ali further said that caring for cats from her own home is a dream come true for her.
