Celebrity Homes for Sale: Reality Star Janice Dickinson Selling Benedict Canyon Home for $2M

Reality star and former model Janice Dickinson placed her Benedict Canyon property in the market three days ago for $1.995 million. According to Los Angeles Curbed, the place was under the name of Dickinson's long-time boyfriend, psychiatrist Robert Gerner. Afterward, Dickinson made a shocking announcement that she has early stage breast cancer.

According to Variety, the property was described as an "eclectic canyon retreat," and Gerner acquired the property in the last 2012 for $1.43 million which was shortly before Dickinson filed for bankruptcy with nearly $1 million of debt. Originally built in 1948, the split-level residence sits on more than a quarter of an acre of land and has a total of three en-suite bedrooms and three full bathrooms.

It has a total area of 2,702 square and features hand-carved wooden doors and wrought iron chandeliers. The living room is spacious and is decorated with strong and colorful pop art portraits of Dickinson. There is also a working fireplace to keep the room warm during the cold seasons.

About a few steps from the living room is the combination of the dining room and the newly remodeled kitchen designed with lacquered cabinets and slate gray tile backsplashes and equipped with modern stainless steel appliances.

On the uppermost floors, there is a one-guest bedroom which has French doors that open to a large terrace at the top of a two-car carport. The master bedroom is designed with high ceilings and lavishly decorated with gold-painted carved wood doors which lead to a stunning marble and mirrored bathroom.

Overall, the place has a bright interior with some eclectic decoration pieces. It is also decorated with exposed beams and hardwood floors all throughout. Outside, there is a custom Buddha fountain. There is also an outdoor sitting area, a koi pond and a yoga terrace.
