Jason Segel Net Worth: 'How I Met Your Mother' Alum Snatches Shepard Fairey's Los Feliz House for $2.25M

Actor Jason Segel made a real estate move when he purchased street artist/philanthropist/muralist Shepard Fairey's Los Feliz property for a hefty $415,000 over the asking price. According to Los Angeles Curbed, the residence was originally listed for $1.835 million.

Segel is now the owner of the four-bedroom, four-bathroom Mediterranean-style house which was originally built in 1929. The property is located just south of Griffith Park and still features some of its original details dating back to the 1920s. It features high ceilings and large windows located in the living room and the balcony. The Faireys bought the place back in 2005 for only $1.37 million. They reportedly added a terraced yard and some landscaping before they put it up in the market last month.

The place also has some of Fairey's works like the artworks hanging in the two-car garage that was converted into an art studio. Trulia reported that the 2,523-square-foot home's focal point is the living room and the eat-in kitchen which features a hand-painted banquette. It also has a stylish dining room which has a viewing balcony. The fourth bedroom has its own separate entrance, and it can be converted into an office or a guest suite.

Segel also has other properties, and this includes his $1.4 million home in Hollywood Hills which he bought last year and his longtime home in West Hollywood which he purchased in 2007 for $2.24 million. He also has another West Hollywood home which he bought in 2010 for $1.849 million.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Segel has an estimated net worth of $30 million. He became a household name for his role as Marshall in the CBS sitcom "How I met Your Mother." He also worked with producer Judd Apatow for shows "Freaks and Geeks" and "Undeclared."
