Bedroom Identical to Van Gogh's 'Bedroom in Arles' Painting Listed on Airbnb

Would you like to sleep in a room that is like a painting? Airbnb's newest addition to its listing is a room which is like a three-dimensional version of Vincent Van Gogh painting, "1888 Bedroom in Arles."

The Art Institute of Chicago recreated the painting including the bedside blue jug, the colors and even the positioning of the chairs. It has a wooden-framed double bed with a red blanket which is the same as the painting. The bedroom also features two simple wooden chairs, framed pictures, a bedside table and a peg rail.

The small vibrant bedroom can be rented for $10 (£6.80) a night good for two people. Said rental is created to promote the Institute's new exhibition that centers around three paintings of Van Gogh's domestic space which he created from the year 1888 to 1889.

The exhibit will also be the first time that the paintings will exist in the same space in North America. The famous painter did the first painting when he moved to his “Yellow House” in Arles, France but it was damaged by water. Hence, Van Gogh painted two other versions of the paintings, one while he was at asylum in Saint-Rémy in 1889 and the other one was done as gift for his mother and sister, This is Colossal wrote.

The room sits in a building off the museum in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, which is part of a larger apartment. It may be a classic bedroom but it is complete with Internet, TV, Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and a kitchen.

"This room will make you feel like you're living in a painting. It's decorated in a Post-Impressionist style, reminiscent of Southern France and times gone by. Its furniture, bright colors, and artwork will give you the experience of a lifetime. I am charging $10 for no other reason than that I need to buy paint. However, I will be happy to provide you with tickets to my exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago," the advertisement says making it appear like it is the painter who wrote it, Mail Online reported.
