Top Tips on How to Organize Your Clothes Without a Closet

Organizing your clothes without even owning a closet is actually not a problem these days. Here are some of the most helpful tips on how this can be done.

First, getting a clothes rack may be your first and most viable option especially if you have a lot of clothes that you want to hang or organize. A recent room makeover posted on Refinery 29 showed how it's possible to still organize clothes in an apartment no matter how small it is. Just as long as the area is kept clean and there are no dusts, then there's no need to actually get a closet for your bedroom.

"The closet solution for this Brooklyn bedroom includes wall-hung rails, which have a less obtrusive profile than floor-based garment racks, and a wardrobe with a door for neatly storing shoes. The setup also includes a dresser, a rolling cart for corralling accessories, and a rail with hooks for hanging purses," the publication noted.

Meanwhile, Avenue Lifestyle also came up with their own arrangement for an apartment that doesn't have its own closet. The site made use of IKEA's garment racks and a shelf above that holds multiple pieces of clothing.

Holly "used two IKEA racks; a shelf above holds baskets for seasonal storage, and folded items get tucked away in the vintage cabinet. An open wardrobe may not be to everyone's taste, but Holly loves it because she says it forces her to be honest with herself about what she does and doesn't wear, and purge often," the publication noted.

Now that you have these two options, it's now time to decide which one you will go for best. Remember, everything now boils down to your preference. As long as you know how to organize your closet, you should be fine.
