Extell’s 831-Foot-Tall One Manhattan Square Construction in Progress, Markets to Asian Buyers Exclusively

After more than a year of site preparation, re-bar work has started in the construction site which signals that the 68-story building structure will soon rise. But it is actually marketed as an 80-storey building, 6 Sq. Ft. reported.

One Manhattan Square‘s construction site is Extell's skyscraper which is expected to rise up in a few months. Seen in the site is a newly erected crane that is pitched at the southeastern corner of the area. Soon, the structure will dominate the 305-foot-tall Manhattan Bridge for more than 500 feet.

The structure will be dubbed as the city's second largest condominium tower in the city after the Corinthian. Gary Barnett conceived the idea of the tower which will have around 815 units. These units will be up for grabs which also comes with many luxurious amenities.

Prices of the units are relatively affordable for Manhattan since it will range from $1 to $3 million. For now, overseas Asian buyers are the primary market for the project which is expected to be finished in 2019.

Asia’s wealthiest were given an 88-page brochure which shows the apartment interiors as well as its “over-the-top.” The condominium features a 70-seat movie theater, a tea pavilion, a tree house, a sunken tranquility garden, a putting green, a bowling alley, a 75-foot indoor pool, a cellar bar, and a dog spa, New York Curbed reported.

The interior of the dark units includes a custom stained oak, Mountain White Striato stone bartop, Caesarstone countertops, and five-inch wide dark stained oak flooring. Meanwhile, the light units include Caesarstone countertops, custom-painted oak cabinetry, a five-inch wide light stained oak flooring, and a polished statuary stone bar top.

It is said that “One Manhattan Square will redefine downtown luxury living” with its over 100,000 square feet of amenities. One can also choose a color palette from light to dark for the Meyer Davis designed interior.
