Mark Zuckerberg Net Worth: Ranked Sixth Richest Man in the World, Plans to Build AI for Home

Mark Zuckerberg, 31-years-old, Facebook's CEO is currently making his way to the list of the world's richest people with a $48 billion net worth.

This boost in Zuckerberg's net worth is brought by the increase of Facebook's stocks to 25% in the last 12 months. To recall, Facebook's quarterly earnings went bad during its first few months sending the net worth of Zuckerberg from $20 billion to $14 billion.

With the current, $48 billion net worth of Zuckerberg, he is ranked as the 6th richest person in the world, according to Celebrity Net Worth. He has surpassed David and Charles Koch and Carlos Slim Helu.

People richer that the Facebook CEO are Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffett, Vladimir Putin, and Bill Gates, who is worth a shade under $80 billion right now).

Meanwhile, Zuckerberg shared on Facebook that part of his New Year's resolution is to make an artificial intelligence (AI) butler for his mansion.

"My personal challenge for 2016 is to build a simple AI to run my home and help me with my work. You can think of it kind of like Jarvis in Iron Man," he wrote on a Facebook post. "I’m going to start by exploring what technology is already out there. Then I’ll start teaching it to understand my voice to control everything in our home — music, lights, temperature and so on. I’ll teach it to let friends in by looking at their faces when they ring the doorbell. I’ll teach it to let me know if anything is going on in Max’s room that I need to check on when I’m not with her. On the work side, it’ll help me visualize data in VR to help me build better services and lead my organizations more effectively."

It appears that Zuckerberg is like Iron Man during his free time as noted by Hot Air. It added that it would be a "fun intellectual challenge" for him. And this would be a nice addition to his Liberty Hill house in San Francisco.
