Celebrity Homes: NFL Player With Most Expensive House Named

It is common knowledge that NFL players earn a reasonable amount of income, but do you have any idea which one has the most expensive house?

According to Curbed, quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Cam Newton may be two of the most successful NFL players in the world, but this doesn't mean that their homes are the most lavish ones. In fact, Manning's Denver-area estate, as well as Newton's Charlotte condominium, is nothing compared to those of the other NFL players'.

The publication revealed that Manning is only second in the list of most lavish mansion owners in the United States. Topping the pyramid is Tom Brady. Manning is followed by Philip Rivers, DeMarcus Ware, Rob Gronkowski, Frank Gore, J.J. Watt and Alex Smith. Other NFC players on the list are Newton, Russell Wilson, Jared Allen, Reggie Bush, Patrick Peterson, Marshawn Lynch, Richard Sherman and Robert Griffin III.

"We've selected 16 over-the-top properties owned, currently or previously, by NFL players to face off in an AFC vs. NFC real estate matchup. The bracket squares off pro football players from 11 different teams, and the homes range from a waterfront mansion in Seattle to a 4,500-square-foot log cabin in Wisconsin to a party pad in Tampa. Which modern-day castle should be the champion?" the publication noted.

They also revealed that a poll for voting will be released tomorrow, and fans will be the ones to actually decide on which NFL player has the most lavish mansion to date.

In other news, one fan tried to make a point by saying that it doesn't really matter which NFL player has the biggest and most beautiful home. What truly matters are three things: they didn't overpay for the property, they still have plans of making money even after their career is over, and they'll be able to sell the property at a profit if needed in the future.
