Bob Mackie Net Worth: ‘The Carol Burnett Show’ Fashion Designer Sells His Ranch-Style Property in LA for $2.18 Million

The renowned fashion and costume designer Bob Mackie is selling his glamorous home in Laurel Hills, Los Angeles.

According to Realtor, the 75-year-old fashion designer, well-known in dressing big Hollywood stars like Joan Rivers, Cher, Bette Midler, Diana Ross, Liza Minnelli, and Tina Turner, is listing his home for $2.18 million via Michael Collins of Coldwell Banker Previews International and Greg Harris of Compass.

The corner lot home of the designer was built in 1962 and LA Times wrote that the property has "five bedrooms and four and a half baths in more than 3,400 square feet of living space."

The ranch-style property has a simple entryway and a landscaping on the side.

Meanwhile the exterior clearly dictates more of Mackie's design approach, "there's the remodeled kitchen with cheery tangerine-hued Caesarstone. The bright blue and green planters outdoors were hand-picked by the Emmy-winning designer (naturally, they match the pool tile). The stripes of color on the wall next to the pool are also Mackie originals."

On the other hand, the interior part of the property was redone and made into neutral palettes and the 75-year-old designer also made some changes in the bathroom and the dining room. Mackie installed additional  "storage cubbies" in the dining area for his library of design books.

The home also boasts some interesting inclusions like the "Mid-century rock fireplace" and the vast pool perfect for entertaining guests and hosting parties.

Mackie selling his $2.18 ranch-style home is not a surprise for many, in the early years of his career, he also sold some fabulous properties. Along his career in fashion, the 75-year-old served many known stars but he was most popular in dressing Carol Burnett for 11 years in the entire run of "The Carol Burnett Show" including its spinoffs.

Bob Mackie has an estimated net worth of $2 million.
