Steve Ells Net Worth: What's Inside Chipotle Founder's Denver Home

Chipotle founder and CEO Steve Ells listed his Denver home for $4 million last year.

Elle Décor took a tour of the contemporary mansion. The contemporary mansion reportedly offers privacy despite being located in a busy city. The 1/3 acre plot of land overlooks the golf course of the Denver Country Club, and the backyard makes anyone feel that they are away from the noise of the city.

The interior, on the other hand, features organic texture with industrial style windows which flood the residence with adequate sunlight. Despite having an open floor plan, the overall design of the place has an intimate feel because of its dark and wide flooring and soft lighting. Listing details reveal that the property was designed by Thomas Briner.

The modern architecture also features a floating glass staircase and a chef's kitchen filled with stainless steel appliances. On the main floor of the house, there is a home theater, wine room and a guest suite which has a private entrance.

Outside, the place features an expansive courtyard, salt water pool, an outdoor kitchen with an Italian wood-fired pizza oven and terraced gardens. The residence has a total of four bedrooms, one full bathroom and four partial bathrooms.

Ells is an American businessman, and according to Celebrity Net Worth, he has an estimated net worth of $200 million. He earned his money by being the Chief Executive Officer and chairman of the company, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and he is also a Sous chef at Stars Restaurant in San Francisco. Currently, he was tasked to be one of the judges in the new NBC series, "America's Next Great Restaurant," along with Bobby Flay, Curtis Stone and Lorena Garcia.
