Governor Scott Walker Net Worth: Wisconsin Politician’s Wauwatosa Home for Sale at $338K

Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin is selling his home in Wauwatosa for $338,000.

This property on N. 68th Street has been the home of Walker even before he became Wisconsin's governor in 2010. According to Journal Sentinel Online, the 48-year-old politician shared on Twitter that his sons will be graduating from college this coming May. This is why the governor is looking to downsize their home.

Governor Walker listed his two-story home with the help of Premar LLC, the real estate agent for Delafield. The listing posted on Realtor describes the $338,000 home as "exceptional colonial," with its snow as white exterior walls, which is partly made of wood. The single family home has three bedrooms, two full and one half bathrooms.

The sunroom is visible upon entering the house. Aside from this, the living room, dining room, and kitchen are also found on the main level. All the bedrooms are on the second floor along with the family room. This modest-looking home also has a full basement with shower, perfect for guests who have just enjoyed the pool outdoors.

The fenced backyard has an in-ground pool on it and an attached garage could park up to two cars.

Other amenities include a security system, a smoke detector, a natural fireplace, and a central air conditioning system. Appliances include a dishwasher, disposal, dryer, oven, range, refrigerator and washer.

The listing requires a 20 percent downpayment, which is $67,600, and offers a mortgage loan type of payment of 10 to 30 years. There are no available open houses but potential buyers who are interested in the property can request for a private tour.

Walker and his family moved in the property in 2007 for $310,000. He made a few renovations to the house like rebuilding the chimney, repainting the home's exterior and replacing the pool liner.
