Straits Times listed some former celebrity homes that can be rented for a night. According to Airbnb managing director of Southeast Asia and India, Mr J.J. Chai, the properties were verified by Airbnb and the history of these places are known to their fans and also the media.
Back in 2014, Brazilian soccer player Ronaldinho placed his home in Airbnb and gave the soccer fans a chance to stay in his five-bedroom house in Rio de Janeiro for almost $12,000 a night. Another celebrity property for rent is Denzel Washington's Malibu home which can be rented for $725 a night.
Bing Crosby's Palm Springs home is also available for transient stays for $1,000 a night. The three-bedroom property has a minimum of three nights stay. Emily Blunt's Hollywood home is also available for rent while it is still looking for a new owner. For $733 a night, one can enjoy the glamorous single-story property with a Jacuzzi.
On the other hand, for those who want to live inside celebrity homes, there are also a few properties which could be rented per month. One of the most famous listings is Jessica Chastain's Greenwich Village Duplex which can be rented for $11,500 a month. The duplex has a total of two bedrooms, and it has been fully renovated. It also offers luxurious finishes and is located in the heart of the village.
"Desperate Housewives" star Felicity Huffman and her actor husband William H. Macy is also renting out their Los Angeles Pad for a whopping $20,000 a month. The place was purchased by the couple in December 2012 for $3.8 million. The 4,566-square-foot property has a total of five bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, and it also has a swimming pool.
