New York City Real Estate Listings: Penthouse in Puck Building Reduced Its Price to $58.5M

After one year on the market, one of New York's most expensive properties reduced its price to $58.5 million.

According to New York Curbed, Penthouse I in the famous Puck Building was first listed in the market in January 2014 for $66 million. The place was called the "Crown Jewel of Soho" because it is the most lavish of all six penthouses in the building.

Listing details for the property reveal that the 7,241-square-foot duplex has a total of six bedrooms and seven and half bathrooms. The place also has its own gym, wine cellar, library and home theater. Aside from the duplex, the place also has 5,000 square feet of beautifully landscaped outdoor space that has an outdoor spa and a yoga lawn. Aside from that, it also has a Lynx gas grills, a spa tub and a wet bar.

The penthouse can be accessed through the elevator and the entrance that leads to the grand atrium. From there, the stunning double living room which with its own fireplace and north-facing terrace can be accessed. The chef's kitchen features the best appliances by La Cornue, Sub-Zero, Wolf and Smeg. The grand master suite offers a stunning view of the city and features two large dressing rooms and two bathrooms with custom finishes. It also has a sitting room and another fireplace. The other bedrooms have their own marble bathroom.

Overall, the interiors were designed with barrel-vaulted ceilings and beautiful industrial touches of wood, brick and also metal details. The Puck Building offers a full service boutique residence with doorman, and there is also restaurant catering from the Chefs Club by Food & Wine.

It was reported that if the property is sold, it will hold the record of the most expensive apartment sold downtown. Currently, the most expensive apartment in the area is the Walker Tower penthouse, which was sold for $50.9 million in 2014.
