'Game of Thrones' Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Mac, iOS: First Teaser Trailer Released

Telltale Games has revealed the first teaser trailer for its upcoming six-part "Game of Thrones" series.

"For centuries the Forresters have been loyal bannermen to House Stark -- a house of traitors," said Cersei, being voiced by Lena Heady. "You rely on your Iron Wood, that much is clear."

"It would be a shame to see it fall into the hands of another house. I imagine you'd do anything prevent that from happening, wouldn't you?" she questioned.

The six-part episodic game series is based on the HBO network's award winning television series, which is in turn, based on George R. R. Martin's the "Song of Ice and Fire" novel set.

Following the story of the story of House Forrester, the game is "caught up in the events of The War of the Five Kings, they're placed in a precarious position where members of the household must do everything they can to prevent the house from meeting its doom," summarized PlayStation Blog.

In a press release by the game company, via The Vancouver Sun, it was announced that a number of series cast members will be involved in reprising their roles in the game.

Players will play the game using five different points of view, either as a member of House Forrester or a character in service to the house and "the series will have them interacting with fan favorite characters throughout the season, including Tyrion Lannister performed by Peter Dinklage, Cersei Lannister performed by Lena Heady, Margaery Tyrell performed by Natalie Dormer, and Ramsay Snow performed by Iwan Rheon. Additional cast members will appear in later episodes," added the statement.

It's important to note that players need to be careful as one character's actions can bring about big effects to the rest of the House, making the game as real to "Game of Thrones" as possible.

The Vancouver Sun shared that with regards to the timeline of the show, the game will begin where the third season ended and finish before the fifth season starts.

Polygon noted that more details would be provided by Telltale in time. The first six episodes can be enjoyed by iOS, Mac, PS4, PS3, Windows PC, XBox 360 and Xbox One users. More on other platforms will be announced later.

The game's first episode-- "Iron From Ice" -- does not have an official release date but is pegged for release within 2014's last quarter, noted Slash Gear. Season five for HBO's GOT will premiere April of 2015. Production for the season began as early as July of this year and ends next month.
