Celebrity Real Estate: Luxury Homes of Australian Hollywood Stars

Some celebrities who came from Australia had made big names in Hollywood and we will feature some homes of these famous as compiled by News.com.au.

First off is the$ 3.06 million ($US2.15 million) house of model Miranda Kerr which she purchased after her breakup with Orlando Bloom. She spends her time in the multi-million dollar luxury real estate with her kids. Said house which she purchased in 2014 has four bedrooms with an ocean view.

According to Kerr, she had some feng shui in her home which features vaulted ceilings, wood floors, stone and granite fireplace, a galley-style kitchen and a detached poolside guesthouse. Kerr sold a lower Manhattan apartment costing $1.9 million in 2013 to move to the west coast.

Iggy Azalea owns a pad in Tarzana, California that was formerly owned by Selena Gomez. She also bought a Mediterranean-inspired 3350sqm estate worth $4.9 million ($US3.45 million) in 2014. Said home has eight bathrooms with Carrara marble finishes, six bedrooms, a basketball court, barbecue pit, spa and a kidney-shaped swimming pool.

Portia de Rossi, the wife of Ellen DeGeneres owns a Santa Monica ranch in Australia which she bought for $12 million ($US8.5 million) in 2009. The 11-hectare estate features eight cabins, an “art” barn with antique furniture, a “romantic” barn, a horse barn (since Portia loves horses), and pastures. But even if the ranch is dear to de Rossi, it was sold in 2013 for $15.4 million ($US10.85 million) since the couple already moved onto bigger pastures.

Naomi Watts and husband Liev Schreiber lives in The Hamptons in Amagansett with their two kids. Their 566 sq. m. home is located in East Hampton where other popular celebrities live which includes Scarlett Johansson and Jerry Seinfeld, Paul McCartney and Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick. But said property is recently listed for $8.3 million ($US5.85 million) as listed in Sotheby's International Realty.

Brothers Chris Hemsworth and Liam Hemsworth also have expensive real estates. "Thor" actor Chris bought a $6.8 million ($US4.8 million) home from actor Paul Hogan. Said Malibu residence features five-bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, library, and a one-bedroom guesthouse.

Meanwhile, Thor’s little brother, Liam Hemsworth purchased a $9.682 million ($US6.814 million) Malibu home in 2014. Said property is a 1950s ranch-style home with multi-paned windows, three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a kitchen with a walk-in fridge.
